Kat. 25ᵃ זַקְפֵיה לארוניה he set his coffin upright.—Part. pass. זְקִיף q. v. —2) to stand erect. Targ. Job XXIX, 8. Ib. XXIV, 24 זקופו Ms. (ed. אוריכו) stand undiscouraged (wait). —3) to hang up.
