    Af. - אַזְקֵן 1) to make old, weaken. Erub. 56ᵃ הני מולייתא אַזְקְנוּן … those ascents … made us (me) old, v. בֵּירַאי. —2) to grow old. Nidd. 47ᵃ אַזְקְנָא לה (some ed. אזקונא, Asheri אזקנה) this would be a sign that she has entered old age (passed the change of life).
