זְקִיפָה, (זָקַף) putting up, erection. Ab. Zar. 46ᵃ דמינכרא זְקִיפָתָהּ the erection of which is noticeable. Succ. 43ᵇ דלמא בז׳ perhaps the proper ceremony consists in posting it (by the side of the altar).—M. Kat. 24ᵃ, a. e. זְקִיפַת המטה the putting up of the couch (on the Sabbath during mourning), opp. כְּפִיָּיה.
