שסי, שָׁסָה (onomatop.) to hiss.
    Pi. - שִׁיסָּה to set on (a dog, serpent &c.). Snh. IX, 1, v. נָשַׁךְ; B. Kam. 23ᵇ. Ib. מאן פטור מְשַׁסֶּה וכ׳ who is exempt from responsibility? Is he exempt that set the dog on, and is the owner of the dog responsible? Ib. 24ᵇ המשסה … חבירו בחבירו he who sets his neighbor’s dog on a neighbor; שִׁיסָּהוּ הוא בעצמו if he incited the neighbor’s dog against himself. Gen.
