Targ. Y. Num. V, 15 דקָיִץ עלה וכ׳ (not דקַיִץ) for which he makes an appropriation in her behalf out of her property.—B.     Pa. - קַיֵּיץ same. [Targ. Y. Num. l. c., v. supra.]—B. Mets. 107ᵇ נִיקַיְּיצוּ עילאי … והדר ניקוץ אנא Rashi (ed. קוצו, incorr.; Ms. M. ניקצו … וקציינא, fr. קְצֵי) let the owners of the upper and those of the lower parts of the forest cut (a path), and then I shall do likewise. Ib. אי קיְּיצוּ קָיִיצְנָא וכ׳ had they cut (their part), I should cut, but as they have not, why should I? Ib. 108ᵃ מאן קַיְּיצֵיה להאי לִיקּוֹץ ענפיה Ms. H. (ed. מַאן קַצְיֵיה תִּקּוֹץ וכ׳) who ordered the cutting of this (my forest)? may his branch (offspring) be cut off; a. e.
