סַנְיָא II m. (preced) 1) badness, inferiority. B. Bath. 122ᵃ לשופרא וס׳ to equalize the distribution of land with regard to the better or inferior quality. —2) evil nature; (by way of antiphrasis for טיב) nature.—ביש סַנְיֵיה one whose nature is bad, ill-natured.
