סִנְטֵר, (Saf. of נָטַר) to guard, esp. to watch jealously; to bear grudge. Gen. R. s. 67 (ref. to ויש̇ט̇ם̇, Gen. XXVII, 41) סִנְטֵירוֹ ונעשה לו ש̇ונא נוקם̇ ונוט̇ר (better סִינְטְרוֹ; Ar. a. Yalk. Gen. 115 omit our w.) he watched him grudgingly, and became to him a vindictive and grudge-bearing enemy; v. סַנְטוּרֵי
