(ed. סנטרי׳, סנטרוי, corr. acc.) to this day people exclaim, ‘the vindictiveness of Rome’ (with play on senatores); Yalk. ib. 115 סנטוראי דרומאי (סנטיראי; corr. acc.). Y. Ab. Zar. I, 39ᶜ (play on Saturnalia, v. סְטַרְנַלְיָיא) ברומי צווהין ליה סַנְטוֹרַיָּיה דעשו in Rome they (the Jews) call it (that festival of apparent good-will) the hidden hatred of Esau (Rome).
