סַבְנִיתָא סַבְנִיתָא, same. Sabb. 147ᵇ סבנ׳ צריך וכ׳ Ar. (ed. סכ׳; Ms. O. סְבִינְיָיתָא; Rashi Ms. סִיבְנְיָיתָא, pl.) if one carries a sabnitha (to be used at bathing, on the Sabbath), he must tie its two ends (around his neck, so that it be a part of his wearing apparel). Pesik. B’shall., p. 93ᵇ סבְנִיתֵיה וכ׳ Ms. O. (ed. סכינתיה, v. Bub. notes a. l.) even his s., if another person did not take it off for him, he could not &c. (Ar. אפי׳ ס׳ לא יכיל טעון, v. preced.).
