כְּנַס, to gather, receive. Targ. Ps. XLI, 7 Ms. (ed. כנף, h. text קבץ). Targ. Esth. IV, 16 (Targ. II Esth. ib. כנוש). Targ. Y. Gen. XVIII, 3 אֵיכְנוֹס וכ׳ I shall receive the passers-by.—V. כְּנַשׁ.
