דִּיחוּי, (דחי) suspension, removal of a consecrated object from its purpose; disability. Kidd. 7ᵇ; Zeb. 12ᵃ, a. e. די מעיקרא חוי ד׳ a primary disability (existing at the time of the vow) is considered like a removal (through a cause of a later date), (opp. to נראה ונדחה, v. דָּחָה Nif.).
