בִּצְבֵּץ, (Pilp. of בוץ or בצץ; v. בְּצָא) to break through, bubble forth, burst forth. Sot. 11ᵇ; Ex. R. s. 1 היו מְבַצְבְּצִין וכ׳ they burst forth and came out of the ground. Keth. 111ᵇ the righteous (dead) שמבצבצין וכ׳ will break through (the ground) and rise in Jerusalem.—Pes. 13ᵃ היה חמץ מב׳ the leavened bread crumbled through the bag. Num. R. s. 18, end; Gitt. 56ᵇ דם מב׳ ויוצא blood bubbled forth. Ḥull. 56ᵃ אם מב׳ if the brains bubble through the hole in the scull.
