בָּצַץ, (v. בצבץ) to break through, divide; to ooze, trickle, drip. Y. Pes. VII, beg. 34ᵃ כל העצים בּוֹצְצִין משקין all other sorts of wood (used for roasting spits) will drip moisture. Y. M. Kat. I, beg. 80ᵃ; Tosef. Mikv. I, 13 ההרים בוצצין (ed. Zuck. ביצין) the mountains are trickling (sending the rain water into the rivers; cmp. preced.).
