נִיצּוֹלֶת, (נֵצֶל) remnants, refuse. Gen. R. s. 67 (ref. to אצלת, Gen. XXVII, 36) מן הנ׳ ed. (Ar. הנִצּוֹלוֹת) of the leavings (of the poorest kind). Gen. R. s. 74 (ref. to ויצל, Gen. XXXI, 9) כזה שהוא מציל מן הנ׳ (Ar. הנצולות) like one that saves things from among the refuse.—Pl. נִיצּוֹלוֹת, נִצּ׳. Tosef. Ter. X, 3 הניצולית וכ׳ (corr. acc.; ed. Zuck. המצולות) the leavings and the rotten fruits &c.—V. נָצַל a. נְצוּלָה.
