נִיקּוּד, נִקּ׳ m. (נָקַד I) 1) dot, point.—Pl. נִיקּוּדִים, נִיקּוּדִין, נִקּ׳. Tosef. Sabb. XI (XII), 13 הכותב שני נ׳ וכ׳ if one writes (on the Sabbath) two dots, and another person finishes them up &c., v. נְקוּדָּה. —2) pl. (as ab.) minute loaves, cakes (of half the size of an egg). Ter. V, 1 (oth. opin. crumbled pieces; v. Josh. IX, 12); Bekh. 22ᵇ. Y. Ter. V, 43ᶜ top והדין נ׳ כהדא חציי וכ׳ those niḳḳadim are half the size of eggs.—[Midr. Sam. ch.
