Where did he go to?—Pl. מֵיתַיָּא (with sing. sense; cmp. מֵעֲלָא). Targ. O. Gen. XXIV, 62 מֵיתוֹהִי).—Gitt. 30ᵃ לא שמיה מתיא this is not called ‘coming home’ (as fulfilling the condition).
