יְחִידִי m. (v. preced. wds.) 1) singular, single, lonely. Macc. 23ᵇ בלשון י׳ in the singular number, opp. ל׳ רבים.—Kidd. 20ᵃ (expl. בגפו, Ex. XXI, 3) י׳ נכנס וכ׳ single (unmarried) he entered &c. Ab. III, 4 המהלך בדרך י׳ who travels alone. Ib. IV, 8 אל תהי דן י׳ וכ׳ do not hold court as a single judge, for there is only One who judges singly; a. fr.—Fem. יְחִידִית. Y. Kil. II, 28ᵃ bot. גפן י׳ a single (isolated) vine tree. Y. Ab. Zar. IV, 44ᵃ top מצבה כל שהיא י׳ it is called matsebah when consisting of one piece (v. בִּימוּס); a. e.—Pl. יְחִידִיּוֹת. Y. Kil.
