טַעַנְתָא, ch.same, plea. Kidd. 28ᵃ האי ט׳ מעליית׳ היא is not this a good plea?—Pl. טַעֲנָתָא. Keth. 18ᵃ כולהי ט׳ טענת וכ׳ all pleas consist of the claim of other people and one’s own admission (replique).
