זִרְזֵיף, (redupl. of זרף, v. זרב) to flow over. Cant. R. to I, 3 מה השמן … מְזַֹרְזֵף בשאר … מְזַרְזְפִים וכ׳ (not כשאר) as oil on top of another liquid, when the cup is full, does not flow over with other liquids, so will the words of the Law not flow over (the lips) in connection with words of frivolity.
