חַתְנוּתָא, Targ. G. I Deut. XXXII, 50.—Pl. חַתְנְוָותָא connections through marriage, sons-in-law &c. Sabb. 23ᵇ הוו ליה ח׳ רבנן (Ms. O. חַתְנֵי) will have scholars in the family through intermarriage.
