טַאטֵא, (Palp. of טא, cmp. טהר) [to brighten,] to sweep. R. Hash. 26ᵇ; Meg. 18ᵃ שקולי טאטיתא וטַאטִי ביתא (Ms. M. 2 טאטיך וכ׳) take the (thy) broom and sweep the house (from which the Rabbis learned the meaning of Is. XIV, 23).
