Bath. 89ᵇ דלא חֲתִימֵי where they do not stamp measures officially. —3) to close a benediction. Meg. 22ᵇ ח׳ ולא בריך he closed his prayer without saying Barukh &c. Cant. R. to I, 11 [read:] מלה חֲתִימָה … מסיימה a closed and finished word (complete in itself).
