תִּגְּרָא, (cmp. נִיגְרָא) ditch, channel. Bekh. 9ᵃ שדינהו בת׳ (some ed. בתִגְּדָא; Rashi בתִיגְּדָא, cmp. נָגְדָּא; Var. in Rashi בתינארא, read: בתִיגָּארָא) they poured them into a ditch (Rashi: vessel, cask; v., however, Tosaf. a. l.).
