קְפֵילָא, (κάπηλος) huckster, dealer in victuals; tavern-keeper. Y. B. Mets. V, 10ᶜ bot. יהב חד דינר לק׳ ונסב מיניה בשער זלילה וכ׳ (not בשעה) advanced one denar to a huckster and received all he bought of him at the lowest prices of the entire year. Lev.
