קְפַל קְפַל ch., Pa. קַפֵּל same, 1) to fold, roll up. Part. pass. מְקַפַּל. Targ. Y. Num. X, 35 (not מְקַפֵּל; v. Sifré Num. 84, quot. in preced.).—Sabb. 58ᵃ ומְקַפֵּל ליה וכ׳ Rashi (ed. ומיקפל, corr. acc.) he might roll the cloak up and put it over his shoulder; a. e.— *2) to go up and down. Koh.
