קְפַז, Targ. Cant. II, 8 Ar. (ed. טְפַז, q. v.).—Gen. R. s. 86, end כל דקָפֵיז לה נסיב וכ׳ whoever jumps up on her (the bear), shall get all the ornaments upon her. Ib. [read:] מסתכלין אתון … בניביה של אותה דובה ואתון קְפוֹז קַפְזִין אתמהא (strike out אמר ר׳ ברכיה) you look at what is on her, but I look at the tusks of that bear; and will you jump?; Yalk. ib. 145 ואיתקפז, read: וְאַתְּ קפז and jump thou.
