צְפַר II, to circle (v. צְפִירָה); to plait one round. Y. Sabb. VII, 10ᶜ top ההן דעבד קופין כד צ׳ וכ׳ he who makes baskets: when he finishes one round (on the Sabbath), he is guilty of weaving.
