    Pa. - פַּשַּׁח same. Targ. II Esth. III, 8.—Bets. 33ᵇ הוה מְפַשֵּׁחַ וכ׳ broke a branch off, and gave us each several sticks.
    Ithpe. - אִתְפְּשַׁח, אִיפְּשַׁח 1) to be torn loose, separated. Targ. Y. Lev. XI, 32; 39. —2) (cmp. פָּרַס Hif.) to part one’s feet, to force one’s self to stand still. Kidd. 81ᵃ מטא לפלגא (ד)דרגא א׳ when he arrived at half the ladder, he stemmed his feet.
