פִּטְפּוּט, (פטט, cmp. פתת) [something minute, tender,] one of the clay pins forming a sort of tripod for the support of a pot, peg. Sabb. Sabb. 102ᵇ עני עושה פִּיטְפּוּטֵי כירה קטנה וכ׳ a poor man makes pegs for a small stove to put on it a small pot (which is also called building). Kel.
