עֲרַב ², Ithpe. אִיעְרַב to set. Ber. 2ᵇ אי׳ שמשא וכ׳ when the sun is set, the day is gone (v. דְּכִי). Ib. וכי תימא מכי אי׳ שמשא וכ׳ Ms. M. (ed. עַרְבָא שמשא) and if you say, when the sun sets, we call it night &c.; Meg. 20ᵇ מכי ערבא וכ׳ (missing in Ms. M.).
