נַעֲמָה, sister of Tubal-Cain. Gen. R. s. 23 (ref. to Gen. IV, 22) למה היו קורין אותה נ׳ וכ׳ why was she (the wife of Noah) called N.? Because her doings were pleasing; ib. נ׳ אחרת היתה וכ׳ Tubal-Cain’s sister was a different Naamah, and she was so named &c., v. נָעֵם Hif.; Yalk. ib. 38.
