נְעִימָה f. (preced.) 1) fem. of נָעִים. —2) taste, disposition. Ab. d’R. N. ch. IV, end (Snh. 38ᵃ דעת).—Pl. נְעִימוֹת. Ib. שינה הקב"ה נ׳ בני אדם זה מזה the Lord made the dispositions of men different one from the other. —3) tune, chant; trill. Y. Shek. V, 48ᵈ bot. יודע נ׳ יתירה היה he knew an extraordinary way of singing; Yoma 38ᵇ כשהוא נותן קולו בנ׳ when he tuned his voice to a trill. Kidd. 71ᵃ הבליע שם בנְעִימַת וכ׳ he let the Divine Name (the Tetragrammaton which he pronounced) be drowned in the chant of his brother priests; Num.
