כבי כבי, כָּבָה, (כָּבָא) (b. h.; cmp. כאב) to grow dim, to be extinguished, go out. Sabb. 21ᵃ כָּבְתָה זקוק לה if the Ḥănuckah light went out, he is bound to attend to it. Y.
