    Pa. - כַּבֵּי to extinguish. Ber. 58ᵃ וכַבִּינְהוּ לעיניה Ar. (Ms. M. ונכבינהו, corr. acc.; ed. חברוהי כחלינהו וכ׳) dimmed his eye-sight, v. בּוֹטְטָא. Ib. 60ᵇ bot. אתא … כַּבְּיֵיה לשרגיה there came a wind and put out his lamp. Sabb. 44ᵃ אתי לכַבּוּיֵי he may be induced to extinguish the fire; Yoma 85ᵃ
