זְבִינְתָּא, (preced.) goods; bargain. Y. Ab. Zar. II, 42ᵃ אלא ע"י עילא ז׳ וכ׳ but, I say, through some accident the goods (in the ship) were upset; Y. Ter. X, 47ᵇ גבינתא (corr. acc.).—B. Mets. 51ᵃ עד דמתרמי ליה ז׳ כזְבִינְתֵּיה until he strikes upon goods like those he bought. Ib. קים ליה בז׳ he knew the value of his goods; a. fr.—Pl. זְבִינָתָא.
