גּוּלְפָא, (גלף) stone pitcher, jug. Yoma 12ᵃ it is usage to leave in the inn ג׳ ומשכא the (empty) wine pitcher and the hide (of the slaughtered animal). Ned. 49ᵇ שקיל ג׳ וכ׳ would carry a pitcher (on which to sit during the lectures) on his shoulder.—Pl. גּוּלְפַיָּא, גּוּלְפֵי. B.
