בֵּיצָה, an egg-shaped object, ball, lump. Ib. בֵּיצַת הגיר Ar. (ed. הסיד) cement (lime) in a lump; Tosef. ib. VIII (IX), 20 בזמן שביצה, Var. שהיא כביצה, when it is as compact as a ball, opp. חבוט.—Par. V, 6; Lev. R. s. 23, end ביצת היוצרים the potter’s lump of clay.
