*אֲצִיפָא, (v. צִיפָּא) matting used for bailing dates, cmp. חוֹתָל. [Oth. opin: the flesh sticking to the stone of half-ripe dates.] Gitt. 89ᵃ a woman was betrothed בא׳ דתוחלא (Ar. אצפא) with &c. (an object of no value).
