תַּרְכּוֹס תַּרְכּוֹס, (תרך) = טרכוס (v. טַרְכֵּשׁ), dresser, bracket, counter. Y. Sabb. I, 2ᵈ top ת׳ שהוא עומד וכ׳ a tarkos (in front of a building) that stands in the public road … which is used to hand things from within to the street, and from the street to within.—[Ib.
