תַּמְרוּרִים, bitterness; trnsf. hostility. Y. Meg. III, 74ᵃ bot. (in a secret letter) תמר ת׳ בתַמְרוּרֶיהָ היא עומדת Tamar is tamrurim (bitterness), she abides in her bitterness, and we tried to sweeten her (by bribe), but in vain has the smelter smelted (gold could not buy her).
