תָּלַם, Hif. הִתְלִים (denom. of תֶּלֶם) to furrow, leave a ridge. Gen. R. s. 31 והיה מַתְלִים תלמיות וכ׳ and it (the R’em) left furrows in the water as far as from Tiberias to Susitha; Yalk. Job 926 מסתלסל (corr. acc.).
