    Pa. - שַׁקַּע to sink, insert, immerse, cover. Targ. O. Ex. XXV, 7. Targ. Y. II, Num. IV, 20 (h. text בלע).—Y. Sabb. VII, 10ᵃ bot. כד מְשַׁקַּע, v. באנטרין. Men. 96ᵃ קנים שַׁקּוּעֵי משקע להו as to the staves, he may have stuck them (into the bread before it was baked). Ab.
