שִׁיבָּא שִׁיבָּא m. (v. שָׁבַב) 1) chip. Hor. 3ᵇ, v. כָּשׁוֹרָא. B. Bath. 36ᵇ מימר אמד כל ש׳ וש׳ דכרבא וכ׳ (Ms. M. שִׁיבֵּי, pl., v. Rashb. a. l.) (the owner of a field which he allows another man to plough) may think, let every chip of the plough go into it (the soil), i.e. he does not care to protest as long as his neighbor derives no benefit from his field; [anoth. opin., v. infra].—Ab.
