רְכִילוּת, (denom. of רָכִיל; v. רוֹכֵל) going around, tale-bearing, evil gossip. Y. Peah I, 16ᵃ top (ref. to Lev. XIX, 16) זו ר׳ לשון הרע this means the going around for slander.
