קִינְטוֹר, pl. קִינְטוֹרִין (Κενταυροί) Centaurs, savages represented as half-horses and half-men. Gen. R. s. 23 ע"כ בצלם … ונבראו ק׳ up to that time (of Enosh) men were created in the (divine) image and likeness, thenceforward the generations degenerated, and centaurs were created (Ar. וקַיְּנָן קנתורין and he shaped them as centaurs); Yalk.
