*קוֹצֶר, shortness. Deut. R. s. 8, beg. [in a gloss] הרבה … או מק׳ שהיה וכ׳ it often happens that one did not take the time to pray, either from shortness(of time), because he was busy with his affairs &c.; [Matt. K. suggests מק׳ או שהיה וכ׳ from indisposition, or because &c.; cmp. קְצִירָא].
