קָהַרְמָנָא, (Pers. Ḳaharmân) administrator, curator. B. Bath. 46ᵇ ק׳ שוויה Ar. (read: שויוהו; v. הַרְמנְיָא) they made him an administrator (of their property, and as such he let it out to tenants). Erub. 59ᵃ דשכיחי גבי ק׳ Ar. (ed. הרמנא) they are accustomed to meet at the office of the curator of the city, v. הַרְמָנָא.
