צְמַרְמוֹרוֹת, (sub. כְּאֵבֵי) m. pl. (v. צְמַר) feverish flushes. Nidd. IX, 8 (63ᵃ) (among the premonitory symptoms of menstruation) וכמין צ׳ אוחזין אותה (Mish. ed. צְמַרְמוֹרֶת) a kind of feverish flushes seizes her; ib. 63ᵇ צמרמורת (Ar. סְמַרְמוֹרוֹת).
