צְלָף, caper-bush. Maasr. IV, 6 הצ׳ מתעשר וכ׳ of the caper-tree the tithes must be given of the palm-like shoots, of the fruit, and of the flower (v. Löw, Pfl., p. 264); Ber. 36ᵃ (identical with נִצְפָּה). B. Bath. 28ᵇ אכלה … כגון צ׳ if one partook of three products of the same tree within three days, as for instance of the caper-bush.
