צְלַק (cmp. צלח) to split. Ḥull. 124ᵃ דצַלְקֵיה מִצְלַק when he split the stove across the width, v. גִּיסְטְרָא.
    Ithpe. - אִצְטְלִיק to be split. Ber. 56ᵇ [read:] ושרו לחבלא עד דא׳ רישיה שרו לחבלא אזל כל חד וחד וקם אדוכתיה וא׳ (Ms. M. אסתליק) let the rope go until he is split up to his head. They let the rope go, when each tree bounded back to its natural position, and his body was torn apart.
